After a session a percentage score is given that compares the player to the entire membership. This needs to show WHY the player received a certain percentage. You can play a few hundred hands and receive 90% and later play the same way and receive 30%. If it's just big blinds won then it's a rather useless tool because luck plays so much in a session shorter than several thousand hands.

Hi, there are a lot of threads covering the PokerIQ score. Just search for Poker IQ and you will find them. Basically, this score is completely for fun, it has a ton of variability and I pay very little attention to it. It is highly accurate in the long run, but not in individual sessions. You are much better off focusing on your weekly training plans and not worrying about the PokerIQ score. Honestly, I would love to get rid of it because it just leads to a bunch of questions and doesn't have much meaning, but there are a lot of members who enjoy getting it.

So what does really have meaning in the statistics?

I'm not sure what you mean...almost all the statistics are just objective calculations with a formula, like ROI, BB/100, etc.. The pokerIQ score is the only one that is something we made up. All the formulas for the other statistics can be seen by looking at the help button on any stats page.

I think my comment came across the wrong way, I wasn't suggesting nothing has meaning in the statistics, it's just that the IQ seems to give a good general impression so I was wondering what statistic(s) would be most important to judge how well we are playing.
