I am having trouble loading my APT saved hand history into the icmizer 2 hand replayer. icmizer 2 supports pokerstars hand history, and when I load the APT hand history into their replayer it shows as pokerstars on the clipboard. It will not load into their raplayer though, it gives me the error "unable to load hand history from provided text". Most all my hand history had zip to end checked, so when i folded i just got dealt a new hand. Is this the problem? icmizer 2 support said that if it is from pokerstars than it should work. Is there a certain converter i need?
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

Hi,
I'm assuming you unzipped the file since it is showing as pokerstars on the clipboard.
Does it give you any other error other than the generic unable to load? If it doesn't and you have unzipped it, only the icmizer support team will be able to help - they aren't providing any info in that error message that can help identify the problem. If they are able to provide more info about what the problem could be, I'd like to know. Unfortunately, with just that generic error message, there's really no way to know what the problem is because our hand history is in the same format as pokerstars.
Zip to end should not be the problem - almost all our users use zip to end.
This thread is almost a year old but still I would like to request that APT provide a way to extract a hand history in pure PokerStars format, please. Or perhaps APT already does this and I have not found it?
This is from ICMIZER:
"Hi Mark
Thank you for your email.
There are dozens of ways to mutate the pure PokerStars format, and we do not plan to add support for mutated formats. ICMIZER supports "pure PokerStars" hand history text format. Any reasonable tracker like HM or PT has a way to export a hand as pure text which was imported into tracker so simply use the pure format when you load hands to ICMIZER. If your tracker/db doesnt has export as the pure format I recommend to contact their support and request this feature because it is literally a must-have. But there's a huge chance that it is already there."
Kind regards,
Valentin, creator of ICMIZER
@mrfleming - if you can provide an example of what "pure PokerStars" hand history is, I'd be happy to help you. As far as we know, our output is in PokerStars format, not "mutated" like he refers to - it works in the external software programs we have tested it in like PT and HM. Without an example of what he is looking for, there isn't anything we can do. It would also be helpful if ICMIZER told you exactly why the history you are trying to input isn't working. It doesn't sound like their tech support even looked at what you were doing to determine if the problem is the hand history or something else entirely. It sounds like they just are making an assumption that something must be wrong with our format - which could be the case, or it could be something completely different and unrelated to anything related to our output. If you aren't sure what "pure PokerStars" means, perhaps you can get an example from them because I tried googling and don't see any reference to this. Like I said, I think our output is in PokerStars format.
Allen I got these examples from ICMIZER

I just went in and pulled a PokerStars hand and one of ours. Just for reference as I look at these, I see several differences between the ones you got from ICMizer and what I'm getting from PokerStars and our site - most notably that PokerStars and ours both show currency and the one from ICMizer doesn't, and ours doesn't have the second time - but that seems to vary by game type on Stars. What we have loads into PT and HM, so I'm still not sure why it won't load into ICMizer.
Has ICMizer support actually looked at what you are trying to import to see what the problem is? They would be the only ones who could say specifically why their software is rejecting what looks to be a PokerStars hand history. Bottom line is we have to get some guidance from them because I just don't see anything that should cause a problem for a good software program. The hand history information itself is identical between ours and Stars.
Here is one from PokerStars:

Thank you Allen, sorry my response has been slow.
ICMICER does not want to go through my posted hand history from APT and I find that very discouraging. I am considering a new product such as the ones you list, PT and HM. Also SnapShove. My interests in SnapShove is its pitch to beginners and its free versions that would allow me to study awhile before buying in.
Loading ICMIZER hand by hand is laborious, so much so that it is self defeating. Things are complicated enough for someone trying to understand these concepts for the first time.
It would be great to be able to cut and paste a session from the Final Table Trainer and study ICM pressure hand by hand.
