Hi,
Our game will work on an iphone. We have a universal version that will function on any device. Just log into your account as usual and you can start a game.
Note that the universal version is really designed for an iPad or Tablet, not necessarily an iPhone - so the size of an iPhone can be a little challenging - but that would be true whether it was an app or just the normal website.
I found their "What's the Nuts" app on the app store. I like playing it quite a bit. I am not sure if it works offline, but it definitely renders nicely on the iPhone.
The what's the nuts app does work offline. It was our attempt to see if apps made sense for us. We spent a ton of time and money developing that app, marketed it heavily, and......crickets. Almost none of our members used it offline.
Developing the game in a format that would work offline AND save hands when they got back online would be very difficult and based on a member survey we did, it was a very low priority for most of our members. Given that the main parts of our site require a database, I don't see us developing a fully functional offline version.
I wish you had an app for Android. This is really clunky on my phone which is very inconvenient. Perhaps your attempts at an app have failed because it's not been properly implemented. All features should be available not just what's the nuts. It's a little disappointing!
