Hello forum. PLEASE HELP. I'm so frustrated in being a losing player. I've been playing, studying and practicing poker (cash games) for awhile now. I go to the casino to play live cash 1/2 no limit hold em and lose . I think I play ok enough but can't see why I can't win often enough. SO after the losing session last night and the hour long ride home I've decided to either find and fix the leaks or give up the game. I use this site often and figured it would help but maybe i'm not using it like I should. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to find the weakness?. I don't want to stop playing.

Hi flushed and welcome to the forum. Are you completing your training plan each week? That would be my first suggestion. If you are already doing that, let me know and I'll offer some other suggestions.

mostly I will pay closer attention to the plan and ill let you know
One thing to consider is the sample size you are working with. If you play only very occasionally at a live table, you are working with many fewer hands than you will be able to see on APT. That is one of the great things about APT. You can play way more hands than you ever could live, or even online. But it is easy enough to forget the big picture when you have bad results in the short term.
You might want to focus more on the process of improvement, and on how you played, as opposed to the specific net win or loss. Playing a small number of hands live makes it possible for somebody to negatively impact your bottom line with one big suck-out. If you played well otherwise, I wouldn't throw out the baby with the bath water because your aces got cracked by a tourist looking to get lucky. If you are consistently getting it in good, then APT is doing its job. And the results will come.
