Everything is random.
Just as an aside, the software we use for the live tables is a standard licensed poker server without modifications.
Unsolicited Testimonial: I have been a member of APT for a good while, and have also now played a good many hours on their live private game server. I have always felt that everything is very realistic when not playing in a situation where you know it is supposed to be rigged.
