Why do advisors say to Fold?

After the river villain bet $1,400 into the $3,040 pot. I should need 32% equity to call [$1,400/($3,040+$1,400)] and I had 49% equity so why do the advisors say to fold?

I don't know so much about equity and the math aspect of the game, but after that river bet I had a feeling you were beat.

Yeah once the villain led into you on the river when the Ace fell you were beat. Surprised the villain didn't bet the flop. Probably setting you up for a check raise but you checked. Then the King scared her. Ace woke her back up.
