Deleting uneeded Tag
Hi APT,
I'm abrand new member and so far very happy with the training. Its fun and engaging and yet I feel I am learning.
Just a quick question, I have started to "tag" some hands and I didn't realise there was a "note" function until later.
How do I delete an unnecessary tag that i have created? I do not want this tag be on my tag "selections" in the future.

To delete a tag (untag it rather than deleting the hand altogether), do the following:
1) Select Reports & History tab on member page.
2) Select My Saved Hands
3) To easily find tagged hands, choose the option about halfway down that says "where the hand was tagged" (make sure you select that hand or select all if you are unsure which tagged hand it is)
4) Hit Submit and now only Tagged hands will come up below
5) On the row with the hand you want to untag, hit on link in second column (Tag) and then hit down arrow which will give you options including Remove Tag. Select that and the hand will no longer be tagged.

Thanks a lot for your answer. Now I know how to remove a tag from a specific hand.
However, I still don't know how to delete a tag completely. I have 2 custom made tags that I have used so far and I want to delete one as it is too wordy and not specific. I o no wish to see this tag at all any more. How do I actually delete the actual tag name itself from my drop down list when I am selecting historical tags I have created in the past? This particular tag I have removed from the hand already. I just want the tag itself gone completely.

Hi, there isn't any option to do that. Once it's added it will stay there. When we developed this feature based on requests, we thought a lot of people would use it. But almost no one tags their hands - fewer than 1% of users. Since hardly anyone uses this feature, we don't plan to add any more options related to it (like deleting previously used tags from the list).
