VPIP dependent on hands to deal?

I noticed my VPIP is very high (62%) but I feel a play a relatively tight game so I was wondering if it's dependent on hands to deal selected since I have it always set at 'playable hands'. So naturally I would play more hands this way.

If you always have it set at playable hands, then yes, you would have a high VPIP. On the reports page, you can see up at the top there is a way to filter on only random hands - just click the "Show randomly dealt hands only" button. If you only play playable hands all the time, then the statistics will obviously be meaningless and show nothing for randomly dealt hands. I recommend playing random hands if you want to diagnose your game, and playable hands to improve.

OK that's what I suspected, no problem then I just wanted to confirm that was the case.
