We just launched a new countdown timer. It works for all cash games and tournaments on APT. It is OFF by default, but you can access it from the main game options screen:
Once you press that button, you'll get a configuration screen that looks like this:
The options available are:
Use Action Timer: You have to check this box to enable any of the options!
Seconds I have to act: The number of seconds you have at each decision point to act, before your time bank gets activated (see below). This is standard in online poker, and even some live tournaments are starting to use a "shot clock" as well.
Play warning sound when I have this many seconds left: When you are about to run out of time, you'll get a "beep" when you have this many seconds left.
Time Bank (zero for none): When this number is greater than zero, you get a bonus "bank" of time that you can use whenever you want, when facing a difficult decision. You only get one time bank for the entire cash game session or tournament (it never resets), so use it wisely! For example, some online tournaments give you only 30 seconds per decision, but an additional 120 seconds of "time bank" you can use for difficult decisions over the course of the tournament.
Time Bank automatically activates when I run out of time: When this option is NOT checked, you'll have to actually click on the time bank to get it to activate before you main timer runs out. Regardless of what you choose, the time bank will never start running until the main timer reaches zero.
When I run out of time: If you were playing online poker for real money (or in a live tournament with a "shot clock"), your hand would be folded when you run out of time. Here on APT, you can choose to have your hand folded, or alternately, a warning sound will play, but there will be no actual consequences.
Let us know what you think!

It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

I liked, very good, was expected, the deal will not be automatic, the letter distribution it does automatic, I have not tested!
Can I program or auto deal?
Thanks for making this software!
I'm sorry, I'm afraid I don't know what you're asking.
Sorry, I'm Brazilian, I do not speak English, I use the Google translator, it's not always right!
I say so, automatic card distribution, as in pokerstars!
But I liked the new technology, I think it gives a lot to the players' game online!
Thanks JCS, glad you are enjoying it! I think what you're asking is about the card distribution. It is true you can "stack the deck" and get it to deal only certain hands. There is also the Combat Trainer and Beat the Pro Challenges that deal specific hands to test certain situations. Other than that, the card distribution is totally random. We use a similar random number generator to what would be found on Pokerstars.
"DEAL' automatic1
Hi, Steve Blay,
Automatic "DEAL" without interrupting the game, do you have this option?
Automatic card distribution. Without player interference, as in a normal PS game, the software distributes the cards non-stop. It may be an option. It leaves the game dynamic, and only in the end will the player see their stats.
Sorry about my English,.
--This software is not as good as APT, but it has a non-stop letter distribution dynamics, it's a legal option, not for the game to click on 'DEAL' ...
without DEAL button, the game follows normal, the player only makes the actions of his cards
Example:
If I understand correctly, it may be that you have the "Peek at End" button checked, or the "Zip to End" button is not checked. Both could cause the DEAL button to come up.
