Followup on BB/100 as basis for leaderboard

As discussed before, a good player can grossly inflate his Leaderboard standing by just playing soft 'easy' games. There must be a mathematical way to discount BB/100 for small BB amounts like $50, and gross-up BB/100 for big BB amounts like $10,000-$20,000?

I think I see the confusion. On our site, the difficulty of the game is chosen by the game type (like KGB), not by the blind level. You can play whatever blind level you want because depending on the venue different blind levels are different difficulty levels. So we separate the blinds from the difficulty.

The main leaderboard only has games played at the hardest level, so BB/100 is a comparable stat between blind levels because that game is always the same difficulty.

There is also an option for including all games in the leaderboard, and that one would have problems with different difficulty levels. But that is not the main one that shows up as default, nor is it something we would recommend using for comparison.

For example I generally play KGB but set the blinds to 2,5 to correlate with games I might actually play. Same difficulty though.

The huge blinds might correspond to mtt play at some levels.
