Ok this first post is going to be a little summary of goals, my BR management plan, and how i would prefer everyone who joins track thier progress to try and keep it organized.
SO! I will be starting my bankroll challenge today Oct 2nd, 2018 with $50 starting at .02/.04 and my ultimate goal is to build that up to $1000 ASAP
My bankroll progression is as follows for cash games:
.02/.04 - $0-$300
.05/.10 - $300-$600
.10/.20 - $600-$1500
.25/.50 - $1500-$3000 (If I make it this far)

Notes: i getting nowhere! what a rollacoaster, i lost my monies early (2nd best 2 pair) and took forever fight back get even.. yikes been learning the KillPhil system its for MTT/SnG very kewl had some success with that ... i made a summary card of it if yah want see it shout

i really no like cash games, however the gold standard for many, specially the 'experts at poker - class', i suppose if why, you play poker is to grind out some daily money, then cash games are the route.
And hey - how else can the teachers/coaches sell their stuff? if the 'bad & crazy players' believe it's mostly luck?
The poker ('magic bullet, buy here and make a million a year play poker') experts need to interject math and hocus pocus, is important for the teaching poker industry, how else could they get us to pay these subscriptions?
I just watched a poker video (MTT) and the announcer speculates that the player is getting good odds and needs to call. Duhhh? Must be student of Polk or Alexander or APT?
Before we accept the need for that call, cause of "pot odds" let us ask a question....
so the pot odds are 5:1 and the odds of this hand winning is 1:4... i need to call?
Just think about this and the BS it is. You are at final table of an MTT or on the bubble of a SnG... hey this hand (after about 100 thousand hands) is averaged to win 25% of the time!
Odds and probability are based on an infinite number of events, i play max 300-400 hands a day usually not at same event, so i await someone explain me, how pot odds are meaningful to me?
BUT the cash game people... so if they play a zillion hands, the win 1:4 and pot odds 5:1 make it a profitable call, based on average of a zillion hands at this same circumstance. I agree the math-probability for a cash player, playing in similar circumstances a zillion hand - yup it profitable.
I can show statistics as well, (sticks tongue out at Mr Allenbay) not anecdotal but university research. If you are experienced, studied at poker against recreational... only after 1500 hands will your superior abilities triumph.
