and yes @1warlock i not now play $7 things but if i just want play one thing tonight
sometimes you need take what resister now
@krista - I'd love to help but I'm not really sure what you are asking. Are you looking for what to do in those specific spots or in general near the bubble and then in the money or what? I guess my biggest question is on #3 when you are dominating in chips with 4 left but you finished 3rd. How did that play out? Sometimes its ok to let the other stacks destroy each other - you don't have to be involved in every hand. Just guessing at what may have happened though.
3rd of 78 is pretty darn good, IMO. You will certainly not go broke if you keep 10xing your buy-ins
There is nothing wrong with playing $7 buy-in MTT's.
yes help me what strategy in each specific spot ok?
i so frazzled and have no idea
i HATE lose allllll the time
and no ask see hand i busted out on .. was total idiot play.. i embarrassed of it when i review it cries

i have no idea what strategy i need have in this

OK, lets see what we have. In #1 you are the BB with K6o when EP2 opens and everyone else folds. Player has 8.6BB behind, fairly tight VPIP/PFR but is way aggro post-flop. As much as I hate to do it because of the price I'd be getting, I fold K6o and move on. Can't raise that because you'll be snapped off in all probability. A min-raise open instead of a shove for 10BB screams strength to me and I don't want to be involved in this pot when he shoves whatever flop there is. You catch a pair and now you have to call and I'd bet you'd be behind huge 9 out of 10 times. Fold your 1BB.
2 - there's nothing to say because it looks like UTG opened and CO isolated with KK. Unless you held KK or AA, folding and getting out of the way is the proper move.
3 - if CO shoves you have to call. Anyone else shoves and you fold. People are going to scream at me for folding any A because they could be shoving very wide but I'm folding A2o if it costs me more than 2-3BB to call.
Not sure what is giving you problems other than you say you are playing too tight late in the game. I think this will improve with experience. It becomes more situational than most other spots in the tournament. Look for spots to apply pressure to the people who stand to lose the most by a confrontation when you are the big stack. That means attacking the medium stacks, not necessarily the short stack. Its also ok to let the others cripple each other if they want to go at it.
LMK what specifically you are having trouble with and I'll see if I can help. Shouldn't be too hard to get you from final table to HU and form there to the win. Are you practicing your HU play at all? If not, start playing some HU SnG's or some HU ring ASAP. I'll be happy to play you on the other site whenever you want.
thanks @warlock...
solid advice, i read it 3 times...
my quandry is if i chip leader or close top do i just keep fold and stay out of pots unless with top premium? do i play the leaderlist and money payout or my cards like normal?
yes stay out of coin flips but what of like ATs KQs 88, 77?
it seems i need get from doing well to actually winning something other than a tiny SNGs... i just get so frustrated, investing money and many hours then blowing it badly, on the final leg of it
i did play my first WCOOP event an $11 thing, with thousands of players... i was totally intimidated for some reason, I have played higher money things with zillion players, maybe it the special mystic of WCOOP?
I promised myself to stay with my ranges and try no do dumb things... problem is with cards... my VPIP should average out to around 25... but in this it was 8 lol
terrific thing - i was at tables with PokerStars pros! Spraggy and Dimitry maybe that scare me a bit but i hardly got playable cards
the other thing i played a kewl new thing... a timed tournament, so you register and play - lasts exactly 5 levels, 25 minutes... at the end whoever remains (in this case 14 of 95 players), gets part of the prize pot relative to chips
i did win $27 so am ahead a bit for the day lol tiny bit
i going try more WCOOP things - before my date with the main event on 16th hahaha
hugs
