I have in each of my ranges, Early, Mid & Late position... A2 suited
why is that?
i sure i had A2s 4-5 times tonight and it only costs me monies
like what use is it can only make a straight this way ---->
if pair the A has the worst kicker
what your thoughts on this?

I thought you got rid of A2 and A3, along with A7-A9 in most cases? If not, do so. I'd keep A4s,A5s to be able to hit both sides of the board but wouldn't play those hands for top-pair value. A3s can be a decent 3-bet from say the SB vs a late open but I'd only open with it on the BTN or SB myself. Pretty looking but nearly worthless hands that get people into all sorts of trouble.

no i got rid of lower suited A in EP
i got that all suited aces in Late and Mid, from I think Ed Miller and the RedChip place
you right, i need spend more time running odds with these myself ... like A2s can't get better than 44% against more ranges ... yet lots of Ax unsuited that i dropped, do better like A9u gets 47% or ATu is 52%
if the rationale is to included all the low suited aces for get a flush... odds of that are like 11% to flop a flush draw
yah the ace gives you top flush but geeze 11%?

One of the biggest problems with these hands is not related to their equities. Equity is a decent starting point but doesn't mean as much as people think it does, unless its an all-in situation. The larger issues with hands like A2s will be the negative implied odds. On one side, its very hard to extract value with an A on the flop if no one else caught a piece of it. So, you will win a lot of small pots on the flop when you make top pair. Then, there's the really bad part - when you don't take down the pot. You have top pair but you are dead to any other A. Best you could hope for is a chop. It gets even worse with 2-pair on say an A Q 2 T 7 board with no flush draws. 2-pair is a tough hand to fold and people will call off huge chunks of their stacks only to see the other guy with AQ or AT. Top and bottom pair hands are all sorts of horrible for your bankroll.
So, don't always look at the equity. Think about how the hands will play out in all sorts of situations. I know you think I'm a brilliant poker player and can do no wrong
but one of my tricks is that I don't put myself into situations that can go horribly wrong in the 1st place. You will be put in enough hard spots on the poker table as it is. You don't need to go looking for new ways to find yourself in them.
