APT live "online" tournament stats?

I realize that it represents an immense, technical challenge butttttttttttt I'm curious about whether our individual stats from live APT tournaments could be compiled and shared with us?

When I play against the various APT AIS I'm sure I donk around enough to substantially skew my stats. When I play APT events these days I try to ALWAYS play my "A" game and ( despite struggling with the my all to frequent urge to go all in ) I believe my recent results show a substantial improvement against live opposition. It would be REALLY good to view my stats for the 100+ tournaments I've played the last 6-7 months composed of 1000s of hands.

My wife recently commented that I should try playing like I was on tv! What a concept. I think of her words often and it tempers some of my LAG tendencies, although some of my opposition is probably snickering at that thought. Syn paying attention? Hahahahaha!

Maybe making this info available represents a value added service opportunity for APT. I'm curious what other live event players think about this idea? Please comment year or nay.......

Please consider adding this to your array of tools and services.

Warm regards,

Syn

I think it might be possible, but not right now. I think you know that the live games are run on a third party software. We have had problems with the software saving the hands out completely accurately. We have been trying to work on this and debug the problem for a while, but I don't think we have reached a resolution on it yet. The other issue is that we save our hands a certain way and code a whole bunch of stuff that make sure it easy to get stats. I've never looked at the format the live hands are saved in, but I suspect that it will be very different, and that might make it challenging.

Bottom line is that as the live tourneys have grown in size and number, we are aware that replays and stats would be very useful and it is something we are thinking about.

Thanks for the quick and detailed reply I appreciate your attention. I knew we'd chatted about this previously but I hoped a show of support from others might improve its likelihood of consideration. I know that this task represents some daunting technical challenges and benefits a small subset of APT users.

Meanwhile if you could slow MrLabRat's monthlong rush down that would help me out personally. His domination of APT daily tournament final tables in July was beyond belief!

In fact adding ohar2 to my slowdown request would be good thing too. He's final tabled 4 APT daily tournaments in the last 2 weeks and won them all!!!

I mean, c'mon, between the $5000 chips MrLabRat and ohar have squirreled away there're barely enough to have a tournament! You guys @APT better order some more of them or we're all in trouble.

Just to clarify my personal interest here, I enjoy playing with both of them a great deal and feel that such stiff, relentless competition encourages me to improve dramatically! I wouldn't mind getting hit with the deck in a more timely fashion if you guys, as mods, would arrange that for me, or duxman, or nabilgideon, or north32rowan but not microbet (he rivers me wayyyyyy too often).

Disclaimer: This is all in fun except the part about microbet.

    As always......

    Warm regards,
