    Hi,
Just wanted to acknowledge your suggestions and say thanks for them.

Related to the first one - you should automatically stay signed into the site. It is designed such that once you are signed in, you remain signed in using a cookie. If for some reason you are always having to log in, that probably has something to do with your cookie settings.

Thank you for the other suggestions, we will keep them in mind and talk about them.

I have actually had the same log-in issues recently. However, this time I logged in without having to re-enter my information.

PS - I re-upped for another 6 months. Keep up the good work of making this site and especially the BOTS even better!!

APT should analyze HU matches as HU matches. Right now they are analyzed as 6 max play. Obviously it says poor play each time as the strat is different. ( summary says 6 max)

You are correct- it doesn't analyze like heads up. We wanted to launch the heads up game prior to completing the training plans for the game. The training plans and reports are very difficult to program, so we figured it was better to just get the game out there so people could start playing it. However, it definitely shouldn't say six max - that is a bug.

I practice a lot on the 9 table game and the table max on the $1/$2 is only $200 which to me should be a lot more. Some casinos like the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas have no max. Could you up this to at least $500? The bots all sit down with $200. This is not realistic as I have never sat down at a live table with each player having the exact amount of chips. This would help tremendously as a smart poker player might play differently with a villain with only $100 chips versus a villain with $500. This seems like an easy fix.

Thank you. I enjoy this site and want it to be better and better.

Thanks so much for the comments. It echoes some of what we are working on right now. We are working on allowing greater stack sizes (with some limits because the sizes change the optimal play of the bots and we are doing some reality check testing), and we are working on some various options for opponent stack sizes (like random stacks, when they reload, etc.)

I'm glad you like the site. We designed it thinking about what we would want in a trainer, so we are always thrilled to get suggestions and ideas. We can't always do all of them, but we like to hear them anyway.

Hello, not sure if this is the right area but I have a suggestion /question (sugguestion?) - is there any chance of seeing the summary of the 28 pro's actions without having an advisor selected?

So if I raise and that's what 24 of 28 pro's would do, I'd just see that instead of the summary and what a specific advisor would do?

Yesterday at the Golden Nugget playing the $1/$2 NL a 30 something year old sits down with $200 and announces that he was going to make the table more interesting. He accidentally lights a cigarette and is told by 4 players he is not allowed to do this. On the first hand he pre flop raises to $22 and I call with JJ. The flop comes AQ3 rainbow and he bets $50. With 2 overs I cannot call so I show my JJ and he flips over K7 off. For the next 45 hands he raises every hand from $10 to $30. His stack goes up to $500 and then drops back down to $250. I never won a hand while he played and could not wait until he left. I played tight but with big pre-flop raises I could not pay small pairs and suited connectors. I'm just writing about the play from this guy as I see it all the time. I'm hoping someday we could have a maniac Bot!

Is there a way to make notes about players in the live tournament? ie: make a note about their playing style, etc.

Just started playing the 9 handed cash games and love the site! I noticed there is a leaderboard for KGB's Dungeon, but I don't see anything for the other levels. Is there a way to tell in your personal stats how you are faring with each level? Like a breakdown of BB/100 with each level or even table within the level? Thanks for your time.

Within your reports area you can filter by level, but there is no leaderboard for other levels because on other levels it is possible to see opponents' cards, so the rankings would not be meaningful.

    Hi,
I'll make a note of that as a possibility. Right now, as you correctly state, you see what all the advisors do along with one specific advisor. I think it is a good idea to have one of the options just be "all advisor summary".

    Hi,
I don't believe the software has that feature. The live tournament is something we license from another company since our game is not player vs. player. So we are somewhat limited in the live tournament to the features that exist in the game. With our training game, we can add features, but it isn't particularly possible with the live tourneys.

anyway of adding our own hand histories into the site?

    Hi,
No - the way our site analyzes hands requires knowing what all the cards are, so there isn't any way to import hands into the site. But you of course can export the hands from our site into PokerTracker and Hold'em Manager.

Joined APT back in Nov. and really beginning to enjoy it. I play mostly live so I have been training exclusively in 9 handed ring games at this time, just working to get the trainer to simulate the games I play in. At first I thought it was hopeless. But, after spending a lot of time playing with the options, I think I'm getting really close to the simulation I'm looking for. I think I can get a lot of value out of the site.

That said, here is a suggestion I'm curious about... when playing/training from a fixed position, would it be possible to have the rest of the table rotate around you? It would be nice to train, for instance, with AQ from MP but have the player types continuously vary in their positions around the table.

Maybe even a "shuffling" option would be possible? An option that could be utilized to shuffle opponents randomly around the table after each hand. I think something like this would valuable in all areas of the trainer (not just when playing from a fixed position).

    Thanks guys!

Hello. I have been a member for a while and wonder if it is possible to have an advice on how much i should raise even if the advisor checks.
If I have 8 advisors that would check (one of them is the adviser i have selected) while the other 20 would raise. Then I do not get any advice on how much I should raise. Is it possible to get an advise on how much these playser would have raised?(on the advise button. Maybe en avverage for these 20 players?)

pk506, that's a suggestion I haven't heard before, but I'll bring it up with the team. I can't say for sure it will bubble up our priority list unless we get some other requests for it, but I will add it to the suggestion list.

Hi Runar -- I'll take a look at this -- as you figured out, we didn't give this information because each advisor might raise a different amount. But an average would be reasonable.

Hello, I have a question: in the "My hands played " section I know that it's possible to retry hands, or you can select several hands and replay them (but you're just watching video at that point).

Is it possible to select several hands and retry all selected, so you don't have to retry one by one?

Nice catch! This is a new feature we just launched, and from what I can tell, we didn't add in a retry selections button at the bottom like we have for the replays. I'll look into this and see if it is possible to add this in.

An update that addresses being able to retry many hands at once. In the Saved Sessions section, now you can hit Retry for an entire session, not just individual hands. So if there is an entire session that you would like another shot at, you can revisit that in ful now.

My apologies if this has already been addressed elsewhere, but I was wondering if there were any plans to add a 'Counting Outs' and/or 'Pot Odds' Trainer into the site (or if this is somehow incorporated into another trainer please advise)? I know for me at least these are fundamental skills that I need to improve upon before addressing many of the other more advanced aspects of the game.

How about including 6-max options for the MTT and SnG trainers? I love short handed play for cash and think I would like to start focusing more on shorthanded tournaments.

How about adding a pot limit omaha training table?

  • AllenBlay
    AllenBlay

Hi @1warlock . I'm not aware of these being games played by many people. Are these games you see a huge volume of people playing?

@blbhuhblb - we are nlholdem players and the site is specifically for that. We won't be adding PL Omaha to the site because it is entirely a different game that would require completely different AI.
