I joined this training to get myself prepared for "LIVE" play at some WSOP tournament, and I find myself getting worse as from the day I first started playing poker. In a live tournament I don't believe live tournaments play as "WILD" as your simulator plays. I really need some help. I am really disgusted playing "WILD" and "CRAZY" games! That is not what I want. I would "NEVER" play in a game like this! If I wanted to play WILD games, I would look for them! I don't want to learn how to play "WILD" games, just to learn how to play the game, period! In "LIVE" tournament play, they don't throw down a $3,000 bet while playing 15/30 blinds! And, the advise button doesn't always give you the right play, and that leaves me confused. The overbets are outrageous! Every day I wake up in the morning, I look forward to play a good game, not a wild one! I am getting really confused and really need some help. Can you explain to me what to do? Feels like I'm doing all this for nothing! I've learned a lot and don't want to throw it all away as I am being frustrated lately about my progress. I need some help!

Sorry that you are frustrated. I edited your post to remove some foul language - please keep it clean here.

I actually usually hear the opposite from what you are saying - that real games are more aggressive than ours. I also have never seen our bots throw down a $3000 bet in a 15/30 game unless it is an all-in after some serious action.

If the games are too aggressive, I would recommend using the game options and setting the play as more passive than usual.

From a standpoint of learning how to use the site and the advice, I have a couple suggestions. First, read this thread because it has some good tips on how to use the site:

Second, watch the instructional videos that explain the features of the site and how to change the game settings:

    Good luck with your poker!

Thanks for the tips. I have adjusted and no longer have the problems I've had before. I needed to change my whole program and now found it. Sorry if I offended anyone. It's just that there are so much information out there that it becomes hard to distinguish what is useful and what is not. I've been getting off track and was lost for a moment but I have finally found the right road and now my games are more enjoyable. Tilt can come anytime and tilt was where i was at. Now tilt is much more easier to deal with. I get bad beats all the time but it doesn't bother me too much. Thanks for your patience. You guys must deal with lots of angry people.

@pokerdogg808 - glad to hear you've figured it out. Tilt is one of the toughest things to deal with and if you can figure that out, you're going to win. No problem at all - I understand the frustration. Finding the right type of game on here can take some time and I totally get why it sometimes takes a little frustration before figuring it out. Best of luck with your continued improvement and success!
