I am fairly new to APT - I play almost exclusively MTTs - there have been several suggestions from advisors that run counter to my previous training - I am basically a Dan Harrington student - glad he updated his treatise in 2014 - so I want to start a few discussions where I point out how what I am being advised on APT runs counter to my training to see if others have similar questions or if they can explain to me why what APT is suggesting is a superior route.
Size of Raise: blinds 100/200, one limper, I want to come in for a raise and APT consistently suggests 500 - I think it should be 700 because of the limper - blinds 100/200, two limpers, I want to come in for a raise - APT says "raise it up" to 520 - I think it should be about 900
curious to know what others think about this.

Raise sizing is something that is so game specific it is amazing to me. I've played games where almost everyone min raises and they look at you like you're a jerk if you do more. In a lot of live cash games and tourneys raise amounts are lower than what you often read about in books. We used to have the amounts higher, but we adjusted them down because we often heard that the higher raise amounts were great in theory, but just not how most games are actually played.
I think what you are suggesting are completely reasonable raise amounts. Depending on the game, I think the recommended raises are also reasonable.
